Hey guys! Just bought my first gaming laptop: Medion X7847 with i5-6300HQ and 1060 6gb.

I understand that it is based on a Clevo P670 chassis but I can't find which one, since clevo doesn't offer 1060 with an i5 CPU. Is there a way to find out?

I bought it from Argos ( Link). It is the version with the two usb-c ports on the left side if that helps.

    Thanks

Why do you need to compare it with other models? Resellers can choose configuration options from the factory as they like so differences can occur.

    Hey, thanks for your answer,

It will be quite useful when I will try to troubleshoot various bits and bites, some of which I have already found floating on these forums. For example BSOD during gaming due to the synaptics drivers, fan speed, etc.

Furthermore it will be useful when I try to confirm cross-compatibility for stuff like BIOS, or a compatible screen upgrade in the future (I got the TN panel and I kind of regret it now :) )

Edit: Just found in the Bios ''P670RP6-M'' stated under the MB series entry, so I take it that P670RP6 is the model.
