    Hello,

I want to put a SSD in my D901C. I need a 120 GB drive for booting. There are so many models available and I am clueless about what to choose. I am looking for a good drive which performs good on SATA 3Gb. Any recommendations?

    Hi Mate,

It really depends on how much you want to spend and how much storage that you need really

Prive range is 200-300 euros for 100-160 GB, I only want to use it for my D901C so it is not important if it supports SATA 6Gbps.
It is for booting so the max speed is not important since the booting drives work with lots of small files. I know that 2 years ago the intel drives were quite praised for how fast they were with small files.
I am not confident with the OCZ drives on the newegg.com store the OCZ vertex 2 have 20% minimum rating and it appears they have a high rate of failing.

Will this one work in D901C?
