I'm planning on purchasing a new gaming laptop and had my eye on the sager/clevo 150EM, but I'm really not sure who to buy it from  .
My main concern at the moment is pricing, I'm a medical student so if I can save a few bucks here or there it would be extremely useful. Thanks!

    Edited: United States

Mythlogic, Malibal, XoticPC, Powernotebooks and others all have a good reputation. Contact them all and pick who you like most :)
I know Mythlogic is "more expensive" but if you're getting IC Diamond and colour calibration (standard on their laptops, optional with other stores), the price won't be that much more expensive. Plus, their testing and quality control is very assuring. This is why I went with them. I don't live in the US and that was the deciding factor for me (second biggest factor being their incredible customer service)

I looked at Mythlogic and was really impressed by their reviews, unfortunately spending anymore money than necessary is just not an option atm :( . I will check the others out, thanks!

If you're within the United States, the best options IMO are XoticPC and PowerNotebooks, my personal preference being XoticPC (since I was extremely happy with their quick service and support on my previous purchase!) :)

If you want one soon I would recommend one that has some inventory and can tell you when it will be delivered.

Agreed, I went with Mythlogic as they answered all 1000 of my questions promptly and i like the extra care they put into their machines

They repaste/recalibrate/install update all the drivers/software for you and do a 3 day burn in test.

The most alluring part is that with their warranty they do all their repairs in house which means nothing is sent to Sager. They are a small company that really cares :)

Malibal is very good too, they also do the repair in house other than send it back to Sager for repair. Bought two p150s from them, repair has been fast and hassles free, especially consider I am in Canada

At the moment it's come down to 2 options, XoticPC and Malibal (mythlogic was just too pricey for the same equipment), both are around the same price with XoticPC being slightly cheaper. I've seen great reviews for both but Malibal also seems to have some complaints on these forums and RR.com

    .........I hate tough decisions haha

Aye I wouldn't take 2-3 complainers too seriously. Both companies have had good reputations for a good amount of time, so personally I'd go with whoever's cheaper. Without any hassle of calling in and getting things custom ordered, Malibal is cheaper in my case (because I want pretty much just a CPU, GPU, and WiFi card installed, no RAM, hard drives, or optical drives).

I won't take those complaint too serious, those are from people whom did not actually purchase from Malibal. I judge company by how they handle things when thing goes wrong, not how helpful those sale agents before my purchase. Malibal's tech support is 24/7 I got a response within 30 minutes on Sunday night. the first p150hm I received had a problem and two days later I received a new replacement and I am in Canada. How many company would do that?

Myth isn't as pricey as they look. Their price includes an OS for instance, which you can remove if you don't want one. They also do color calibration and a bunch of other stuff When you actually start pricing out a notebook, they're not far off from the Sager resellers, and I like (as somebody else pointed out) that they do all their service in house, so you don't have to wait for Sager's horrible service department to fix your laptop. Another thing is they rarely seem to have computers coming back to them for service in the first place. It may just be because Malibal and Xotic have a higher volume shipping out, but they seem to have more computers coming back for service. That said, I bought my current laptop from Xotic and was very happy. I never had anything break and their service was really good. I really have no complaints. I'm switching to Myth for my next purchase (in a few weeks here) because of the previously stated reasons.

Myth has a really rigorous burn-in/testing procedure they do before they ship the laptops.. they also real world testing, like gaming, to make sure the machines are good to go!

I think I may end up going with Malibal as they have the lowest price and the rep I talked to was nice, just have to see about shipping as the fiance isn't budging from the price point she set for me :(
