My system builder told me the hardware ID in device manager is LGD0469

So is this the LP173WF4-SPD1 or LP173WF4-SPF1

On this page, it shows that the LGD0469 is the same screen used in the MSI laptop but the MSI laptop uses this screen: LP173WF4-SPF1 although I see the Clevo based ones use LP173WF4-SPD1

    I'm kinda confused.

It is a G-Sync display with 75hz if that helps

Got one up on the assembly line I can check for you once it's booted into the desktop, if you like (new order; assembly team is loading Windows right now). Probably won't have an answer today, but I can check tomorrow.

Well the hardware ID isn't enough, if you can run AIDA64 Extreme you will see the real model number under the monitor tab. Thanks in advance for this

nope, HWiNFO doesn't give precise info about the screen like AIDA64 Extreme does. Tried it on my previous Alienware 18 and the model that HWiNFO gave me was just a generic model number used by DELL but didn't actually tell me that the screen was a Samsung 18.4" PLS screen, etc.

That depends. Sometimes AIDA does give more information, and sometimes it doesn't. On my Latitude E6520, AIDA gives a tad bit more information.

You have the LG LP173WF4-SPF1, the other one doesn't even fit the PHOENIX model LID. ;)

Yes the mounting has started to shift a little to having a couple of versions due to the demands of new form factors, people are going to have to watch even more closely when choosing a panel.
