I'm looking to purchase a Sager np5793 from XoticPC but I'm confused about the warranty. There are literally 9 different warranty options, and they broken down into Sager warranties and unnamed warranties, which I assume are XoticPC warranties. Then I went to read about the XoticPC warranties, and I got the idea that they are covered by a third party company or something? Then in another section of their webiste I read this:

    XOTIC PC Warranty's

XOTIC PC 3 Year Limited Laptop Warranty
3 Year Labor 1 Year Parts warranty program

XOTIC PC 3 Year Complete Care Warranty
24/7 Domestic Tech Support & Paid Air Shipping for Warranty Repairs

XOTIC PC 2-3 Year Standard & Accidental Protection Warranties
3rd Party Standard and LCD Accidental Coverage warranty programs

XOTIC PC 3 Year Limited Desktop Warranty
3 Year Labor 1 Years Pars for Desktop Systems & Servers

XOTIC PC Other Terms & Conditions & Barebone Warranties

XOTIC PC 3 Year Limited Laptop Warranty

As far as I can tell from clicking on these warranties, they are all identical accept for the Accidental Damage one and some random ones that are covered by third party companies.

    An example of my confusion:

When I check out warranty options, there is one titled simply "3 Year Parts and Labor Warranty 24/7 Tech Support"
Then there is an option, that is $50 more that is titled "Sager 3 Year Parts and Labor Warranty w/ Lifetime domestic Toll Free Tech Support"

I did not see any of the accidental damage coverage possibilities in my options to check out. Nor did I see any mention of Complete Care vs. Limited vs. Standard warranties. I'm really confused here about these warranties.

So for those that have XoticPC laptops, or any XoticPC representatives here, which warranty did you get, and can you explain the warranty issue for me?

    Thank you so much

If you have a choice, I would opt for a warranty not offered directly from Sager. In other words, in my experience, a middle man is very beneficial as Sager themselves lack somewhat in the customer service department.

I don't think Sager or their resellers offer accidental damage for the 5793. What i did was after i ordered my laptop i went to Safeware.com (Thanks to Donald) and took out a $85 insurance policy which covers everything.... Theft, accidental damage, screen problems, fires etc..
