In my anticipation consumed by boredom, I thought this might be fun, I just was wondering about the stats of the people here. Who owns what model from Sager/Clevo?

Just like how my last laptop wasn't really a NP3790, it was a Hypersonic Aviator CQ6.

I'm a bit disappointed Hypersonic hasn't been keeping up, they haven't updated their product line in months.

I put my vote in for it anyway. I'm hoping it moves out of phase 2 tomorrow. Just as I was hoping it would move out of phase 2 today :).

Sager NP5320 (Clevo M560A). It will be three years old in October, and it's still running as nice as it did out of the box. Truly a great machine. It's an 'old-school' Centrino gaming laptop with a Pentium M and a 256MB ATI X700. It was the last 15.4" gaming notebook Clevo made prior to the M860TU.

Had my Sager NP2090 for a year now (though, it's a Compal). It has to be one of the best investments I've ever made, with not a single problem to date.

    Specifications:
    -15.4" WSXGA+ Screen
    -Core 2 Duo T7500
    -Kingston 2 GB DDR2 RAM
    -Hitachi Travelstar 160 GB @ 7200 RPM
    -GeForce 8600m GT 512 MB

Despite being a year later, it's performance can match a 9600m GT with slight overclocking and it still plays anything at medium/high. It doesn't stand up to the new NP8660 in performance, but at the time it was amongst the fastest 15" machines.

XoticPC is about the only company I've had the pleasure to associate with, that has been nothing but impeccable. I called about not having my second battery shipped and immediately I'm talking to a real person. Gave them my order number and it was shipped right then. Just amazing.

With hopes for future upgrades, this thing will be with me for another 3 years.

I have a feeling that this probably doesn't truly reflect the actual ownership percentages in the real world at all. My guess is the NP8660 is getting all the votes because all the NP8660 "pre-owners" are anxiously watching the board for updates, hence the large numbers of NP8660.

Otherwise, there is something seriously wrong. I don't know about the largest percentage of a brands' customers being for a product that is yet to be in anyones hands.

    I agree.

Well, I own a Sager NP9262 (specs in sig link), and it works like a champ, I have absolutely no regrets on my purchase, I bought it from Xotic PC.

And in the poll, the NP9262 is not too far behind the NP8860 anymore, just 3 votes behind, yay, go NP9262!

It feels a bit backward to be degraded into a category "other" as an owner of the once mighty NP9261 and 5973 :)
