    Hello everybody,

    I ordered the Force 3551 from XoticPC 2 days ago and I'm really excited about it. Is there anybody else waiting for this laptop to go from phase 1 to phase 2?

    This could be the "official Force 3551 owner" thread :p

    I ordered the sager np2096 (very similar) earlier today but then I stumbled across a thread that had a comparison of the two laptops. After seeing all the extra features (for only a wee bit more) that the force 3551 had over the sager I became curious as to why no one has been fussing about it compared to the np2096, no one ever seems to mention it but people will suggest the sager freely. Am I out of the loop? after seeing this laptop I'm considering switching, is there some strong reason i shouldn't?

    I think it's too expensive. Yeah you're getting a standard 3 year warranty but I don't care for that. My 2096 configuration is at $1459 and my 3551 configuration is $1769. I guess it's nice that it comes with extra features, warranty, and GDDR3 but not $300 nice for all other things being equal.

    Still waiting until august 31st. I hope the canadian dollar will be stronger by the end of the month....

    Hmm, the Canadian dollar will be strong on the 28th and 29th, if you wait til the 31st, that Monday coming it'll be weaker.

    I'm waiting for the Force 3551 too, but it's neither a Sager nor a Clevo so it probably doesn't belong in this forum...

    its really hard to choose :(

    i have been trying to pick NP2096 or Force3551 :(

    i wanted a good battery life laptop and apparently NP2096 can get up to 4h

    but i dont know about the Force3551. I might just get a spare battery? maybe
