As the topic says, I got my laptop today. Still setting it up so hopefully pics in the next couple days since I work tomorrow and Friday. So far I like it. The touchpad location is my only real gripe since it's not centered to the space bar like almost every other laptop I have messed around with. Other than that everything is great. Installed my Crucial M4 that I had from my old laptop and installed Windows on it. No dead pixels, keyboard works great, but will take some getting used to. Ran Furmark and it only got up to about 80c after about 5 minutes. Well, back to installing stuff.

I just want to say that after using my Sager with 680M for the last week that this thing is amazing. Especially with the Crucial M4 that I threw in there. Been playing Skyrim on Ultra with no issues, as well as Guild Wars 2. Don't really know what els to say other than I love my Sager P9170EM and that XoticPC was awesome to work with and that I will definitely order from them in the future.

Congrats! I really like how the windows key is placed on the right hand side instead of the left hand side when I am trying to use alt modifier macros for my PC games.

Really? That's one of the things I absolutely hate about the Sager/Clevo/MSI. If you really want to be helpful, give us an option to disable the left Windows key, but who asked you to just move it?

Oh, and of course - congrats! :)

Ah man, the 680m. What I did realize is that if the Sager with a 680m is still based on a muxless system, and the 680m performs as it should, then that further provides evidence for 7970m performance NOT being hardware limited, but caused by software. This is 2 month old speculation I know, but I just wanted to get it out there.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy the laptop. Mine has proven to be pretty reliable so far. One power surge caused the laptop to shut off, but other than that there have been no BSODs. There have been two temporary freezes which then stopped and brought me back to a working desktop without having to restart. I wish they hadn't happened but they were probably just related to a plugin bug in my browser. This thing stays pretty cool too. It just feels and operates like a solid laptop, and with your 680m it really must feel like the whole package. Darn that 7970m. If the Enduro problem ever gets fixed I will be able to bask in the glory that you are right now.

BTW this is what one of my roomates said to his friend who got a new laptop:

"Getting a new laptop feels like having magic poured all over your head"

ive been confused for years with all the various names and numbers of essentially the same laptop from different resellers.
