I've had problems with my machine since I got it in May. Trackpad was busted (left button only worked on the left side), it IDLED in the high 40s on the CPU which caused the fan to work all the time (come to find out the heatsink wasn't making contact with the die), and I had 880M cards. We don't need to go into that.

No other company would do what they did. They replaced the CPU heatsink (on their stock IC Diamond I'm idling at 37C and with a 70W max, I don't pass 79C. I couldn't even get that with liquid ultra) and the 980Ms (don't bother trying, I've sent my machine back multiple times and finally was offered the upgrade - for a fee I will not disclose).

My computer is now dead silent. I can push the hardest games at it and those 980Ms RARELY will kick the fan on.

They always do a fresh and COMPLETE reinstall of Windows (added touch, Dell made me use the recovery DVD).

But the best part? Is that XOTIC stayed in contact with me the whole time. Poor Tanner had 92 messages from me. This is a company that cares.

Then when I made my dissatisfaction public, Sager contacted me that day and they issued an RMA and got it back to me in less than a week with EVERY problem fixed.

Dell would have made me keep swapping video cards or worse, send to depot. The fact you have to send the machine to Sager is a GOOD thing. These are people that know how to fix issues.

I have absolutely no complaints about my new machine and only opened it to see that they replaced the heatsink. They replaced them all. AAA+ - if you need a machine, the XOTIC and Sager combo is the way to go. I've now got my CPU at 4.2GHz on AIR without using any special paste and the system is finally quiet! And with those settings, it won't normally pass 80C @ 4.2GHz. My old one had to be PUDDLED with liquid ultra... which means no contact at all. In fact I pulled the heatsink and the CLU was in the same spot as when I tightened it which means it made no contact. People give Clevo/Sager machines hell for being loud... this one isn't. Even with a 70W/150A 4.2GHz setting in XTU. Which averages 4.1GHz with that limitation by the way. Couldn't run 3.9GHz on the old heatsink. Complained many times. Took awhile (it always does... seriously, try Dell support. Good luck getting through their accents in the first place and then having them tell you they have to replace with the same part), about 4 months... but no other company would have offered 980M replacement (which again, I paid for) and would have just kept putting 880M in.

These are great companies. And I love my new machine. Gaming doesn't require a headset anymore!!!

Get a 9377 if you're on the fence. The superior fans mean you have a quiet machine. But the CPU fan when it kicks in is annoying. Hopefully they learned from my experience and will fix whatever issue was causing no contact... Even now, on a site that always runs my CPU fan at stock... its dead silent.

Thumbs up to XOTIC for putting up with me and Sager for finding a fix.

Now if nVidia could release a driver that supports my 980M besides the 344! Not a Sager issue... nVidia issue.

NOTE: I'm NOT saying this machine can pull miracles and run Haswell at 4.2GHz without overheating. I figured out that 70W TDP limit was the perfect balance (keeps it below 90, my comfortable limit and I still average 4.09GHz even when benching with that limit)

My 980M don't pass 87C when putting them through hell... And that's auto fans.

Was congratulating you on "finally" getting it resolved.

And mine do not pass 75C on stock fans.

I think Etherm needs to have his 980Ms repaded and repasted with IC Diamond to match you Johnksss :)

Maybe, but he is happy with what it's doing so all is right with the world. A lot better than them 880m's, that's for sure.

I don't need to use max fans... in fact they barely kick on anymore.

Sager and XOTIC did right by me. They replaced ALL my heatsinks. And they must have tested the CPU heatsink... because I'm running the same I was running with CLU.... dropped down 100MHz because its not needed.

I'd be shocked if they didn't use IC Diamond... I originally ordered that with my build... and if I am getting temps like this with some goo... then I can only imagine what I'll get with a repaste but I really don't want to crack the seal, temps are phenomenal. Besides the CPU, the fans almost never even kick on.

This says it all. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-4940MX,Notebook P377SM-A

    X8724 for the lazy.

And the CPU is fixed too.

I'm VERY happy with my new machine. They replaced all the heatsinks... And they all work amazingly well. No hardcore benching from me. I'm not having this machine go toast.
