Maybe I'm just being impatient but I want my laptop neow!! lol I ordered it on the 7 of July from Malibal, then sent the money the 12th. They received my payment July 17th, now I'm still waiting for them to start building it. I start College August 20th and I was hoping to get the laptop prior to me starting but that hope is completely gone now.

That's 10 days since they received your payment, did try asking them?
-
You've waited a total of 8 business days since they received your payment....Many people have waited much longer. If you're concerned, contact Mailibal and check with them.

No, I'm not concerned I'm just impatient lol

You have to make sure the awesomeness seal is ultra tight on this class of machine to make sure it does not leak out.

haha now that i read this thread I'm almost embarrassed by it because I sound like an impatient child haha
-
Don't, we are all impatient children waiting for our toys
-
you weren't/aren't the only one

That's definitely a long time for sure. I paid via CC with Malibal and it was in production within 3 days. Then, it took about another 3 for them to build it. All total, it only took 9 business days to get the laptop to me. Are any of the parts on back-order or anything?

they had to wait for a shipment of 680M's which they received a couple days ago (3 i think?), I asked them how long it would take before my laptop will go into production and they just said that I will receive an email when they do.

So I just emailed Malibal and got a reply (in five minutes). He said that my laptop goes into production monday

They have started production on my laptop and said it will take 2-3 days

Haha, I'm just as impatient as you are. I ordered on the 13th, they received my payment on the 19th and today my order status finally says Complete
Now I hope it gets shipped tomorrow, if it hasn't already and that I get a tracking number, so that I can anxiously and eagerly watch its every step

Thats how i foresee myself being haha I have my ssd here waiting to go into the laptop, I ordered the U3 cooler 2 days ago, and i ordered the extra fans today. Now i just wait
-
Considering how much we pay, I think we are entitled to a little impatience. I often wonder how long it would take if the situation was reversed, i.e resellers or business only received payment after we had the laptop.
I wonder if we would ever hear of people waiting for so long... -

That's an interesting Thought, although if it were like that the business would get screwed outta a lot

Don't worry it's not just you. I had a P150em with 7970m and after waiting 15 days to receive it I then returned it for a 680m upgrade and had to wait another 12 days to get it back!
I was checking the build status many times per day, and once it shipped I must have refreshed the tracking number page about 50 times before it arrived!!
My laptop arrived yesterday and it was worth the wait (and the $$$) to get the 680m - it's an incredible GPU
All my 7970m woes have now faded away... -

I can already see myself hamming on F5 now lol I am very glad I upgraded to the 680M

This actually is a legit payment method offered by many online stores in the Czech Republic. You order the item and either pay the guy from the shipping company, or refuse the payment and it gets shipped back to the store warehouse. Haven't seen this anywhere else in the world though.

I'm having the same issue with a laptop from AVA direct. I ordered on 7 July and on 25 July was contacted that the mSata SSD was on back order for 1-2 weeks. So I have no idea when I will receive the laptop. I was set to cancel the computer and buy from a different company, but now they're emailing me every day and I'm getting updates. I agree with other posters, if a customer is shelling out the amount of money these computers cost with the economy being what it is, their customer service needs to be improved. It's not like there is a shortage of companies competing for our money.

My 11.6 Clevo W110ER has been delayed due to all of the chassis being held by customs but it's not much of a problem because I have my P170HM. If that was the only laptop I was waiting on then it would be a different matter.

Mine is on the UPS truck as we speak. Should be here this Thursday. The laptop shipped from California and coming to home GA.

See I'm stuck with this piece of 16" toshiba, just as i ordered my satori my toshiba started to break lol. My microphone stopped working and my touchpad is starting to fall apart lol. -
See, that's still alright. I have to rely on my 4 year old Acer with a crappy AMD Turion CPU that has no back cover and still overheats even with a fan blowing at it. I've actually been hating it for over 2 years now with constant hardware and software problems to deal with, lol. Lately, I've been trying to overclock everything on it and pretty much trying to kill it, haha. -

My toshiba is old its got the vista sticker and a core 2 duo
-
Hehe mine has a Win XP sticker that I downgraded to Vista
-
I ordered my np9150 on the 19th of June and it just now shipped. I never thought it would take over a month.
-
Wow, that's unlucky :/
I finally got my tracking number and it seems to be cruising the US at the moment. I can't wait for it to arrive
Anyway, my Acer has a Vista sticker too, but I upgraded to XP. -
I downgraded Windows 95 to ME, then I downgraded that to Vista. I'm skipping Windows 7 and going straight to Windows 8.
I'm a masochist.

I am one of the few people that enjoyed Vista over XP lol
Why Is It Taking So Long!!
