I was really considering getting a sager but then I saw their rating on bbb.org. On reseller ratings they also have lots of low ratings. How long do you have your sager for?

Cause Sager has really bad support, it has nothing to do with the quality of their laptops, that is why everyone here will suggest you to purchase from a reseller like xoticpc. Xotic PC Business Review in Lincoln, NE - Nebraska, South Dakota and Southwest Iowa BBB
Or malibal - MALIBAL Business Review in Las Vegas, NV - Southern Nevada BBB
Or Mythlogic - sorry could not find them on BBB - Mythlogic Corporation - mythlogic.com - Reviews, Ratings and Prices at ResellerRatings
Or LPC Digital - LPC-Digital.com Business Review in Henderson, NV - Southern Nevada BBB
Or Gentech PC - BBB Business Review of GenTech Computer - Computer Dealers Retail - Covina, CA
Basically any good reseller, these were the ones i knew of, and they all have representation on the NBR forums. Do not fear, Sager laptops have great build quality

Sager Resellers offer much more comprehensive customer support. You may have better luck contacting any of the resellers on this forum with gray usernames. Most, if not all, carry A's with the BBB.

Also remember that on reseller ratings to not take a spot picture without any perspective. Sager themselves actually do decently well there when compared to dell, toshiba, sony, HP, etc.

Keep in mind that customers with problems or technical issues will always post negative's more then the happy customers.

As always going with a reseller often adds additional services such a additional labor warranties and some also bundle 24/7 Telephone Support.

We are a reseller and we have zero complaints with the BBB in 7 years. You cannot get any better than that. :)

Don't worry about Sager BBB rating.

All resllers in this forum are excellent places to deal with.

Personally I bought from xoticpc and the process was super smooth!

I also ordered a laptop recently with XoticPC, and while I'm currently waiting for parts to come in for the order to progress, their sales have been very prompt at returning communications and smoothing the process to date.

If you don't pay the BBB they don't do anything to help you. And when you pay you become "accredited". Which allows you to get a higher rating. Corporate "Blackmail". Because the consumer thinks they really are impartial. Just like the consumer believes reviews and ratings of websites that are paid for by advertisers to push a product. Kind of like how your doctor pushes meds because he gets perks from a pharma company.

That being said, I do believe your better off going through a reseller. And I have read very good things about the resellers on here. In fact, when I buy my next laptop, I will buy it through one of these resellers. Sager modifies the Clevo's, it really isn't in the retail business like many of the major manufacturers. The resellers tweak them to custom orders, and give you a much better personalized experience. They are really selling "Customer service"' And they excel at it (resellers).
