After seeing the prices of Sager vs AW, i feel sick that i paid 3Gs for my m17x & has WAY LESS POWER then the NP9262 :(

So does Sager have financing, & do they delivery to canadians?

    Thanks.

P.S what LCD brand & model does the NP9262 use, very important?

Sager does sell in Canada (eurocom.ca). In the past Eurocom has been really overpriced compared to other resellers like xoticpc but current models are actually very competitively priced. I think they also do financing, not 100% sure though.

Out of curiosity, do you have any idea what that means?

Clevo used to build the chassis for Alienware notebooks, they've been around since 1983, and Sager's been around since 1985 and I'm pretty sure they're the biggest Clevo builder. Sager's not some little upstart company, although the reseller websites could use a touch of Web 2.0.

You're in luck. This happens to be Notebook Review.com.

Okay, correction, I have no idea what you mean by... oh, I get it now. You mean you want to pay in small installments over a period of time, right?

Eh, it's always so much cheaper just to buy it.

No, if everyone is as rich as me that would be called Communism.

Besides, it does save you money in the long run if you put aside some money to buy a laptop in one flat fee. Then again, it makes sense for me because I'm a student and am just wrapping up a summer job - but won't have a steady income for the next few months.

Unfortunately most of the Clevo resellers do not offer financing. Only the bigger retailers ie; Dell, AW will have that option. If you have a good credit rating, you could go to your bank to see you if can get a signature loan for about 4-5 grand. Another option is to seek out someone with money that can loan it to you.....not something you want to do if you can avoid it, usually involves very high interest rates and broken legs if you fail to make a payment.

When in doubt, call the reseller and ask about payment options. Can't hurt to ask.

your alienware will keep its value alot longer than any clevo (if u keep it in working order)... brand names can be worth it.

just look at alienware sales on ebay.. it is madness even more than used macs.

I believe the Sager NP8660 will keep its value pretty well on ebay, remember that it is based on Clevo. Voodoo also use Clevo shells for their notebooks, and voodoo notebook usually sell $4000+ on ebay.

go sell something to make money ... maybe your TV, your old PC/laptop, your books, your tennis rackets, anything to make some money... Then borrow some money from your family and friends, then you will be all set.
