    Why my P870dm2-g can't recognize Intel 730 SSD?

    My just bought this laptop, it can't recognize Intel 730 SSD but the normal hard drive is ok... :(
    Does anyone know why?

    Are you able to see the drive with or have you formatted it yet via Window's "Disk Management"?

    To add to above post, can you see it in the BIOS? If you can't see it in the BIOS yeah there is something wrong. If it shows up there but you can't see it elsewhere, then you may need to go into diskpart and clean the drive. Be very careful to do the correct drive!

    it's most likely the case of @neohopper and just going into computer managerment and have the drive initialised before use.

    Also double check the drive is fully inserted, sometimes the thinner drives can trick you.

    Yup either of these 2 can be an issue.... See if its detected in BIOS firstly if not, double check the connections like Meaker said..

    If detected alreay in BIOS, you need to initialise it in Windows!
