    Hello,

I am the owner of an old p170hm and would like to buy a new one. I have defined 3 ref and would like to have some advice on wich one is the best:
    - p771ZM : worried about the temp with a standard cpu
    - p170 or 177 don't really care about light :p : basic choice
    - p375sm with only one 980m (if possible in order to upgrade into sli in the futur) : my fav if i can buy with one gpu

Thx for tout advice. For each choice the reste of the conf is the same (ssd, RAM, ...)

The newest one P771ZM. Go to the owner's lounges for this and the P75xZM if you are worried about CPU temps. There is lots of good info in the threads about taming temps if it's needed.

I think you can upgrade the P375SM-A with a second GPU in the future, meaning, I don't know of anyone not allowing a purchase of a single GPU.

If possible, I might wait on that one because there will likely be a desktop CPU / Xeon, SLI machine coming.

thanks I will take a look at the p771ZM thread. But don't yhou think that the P365 is better for gaming is there a real interest in a deskstop cpu?

any information about the new machine comming?

It's fairly expensive to add the second card later on just to warn you, you'll need card, heatsink and SLI cable, if you are sure you will do that in the future and spend the $600-800 later then sure it's your best option.

For pure gaming, yes, the 375, as Meaker said, is your best option. You can upgrade the mobile CPU and add a second or upgrade GPUs.

The 771 gives you the option of upgrading or downgrading a desktop CPU or Xeon and the GPU.

You just gotta love the freedom Clevo gives you!

We may know more about new machines after August 18 and Intel & IDF.
