I'm just wondering why do each of the antennae of the wifi card of my M860TU have two ports and yet those ports are shorted with each other and are tied to the ground?

I was able to confirm this using my voltmeter and when I replaced one of the antennae that broke. The antenna wire itself has an outer conductor and an inner conductor and they both are soldered to the same metal antenna, is this normal? I mean is this really the way it is?

A: are they all the same?

    B: does your wireless work?

If the answer to the above 2 questions is yes, then that is how it is supposed to be.

    A. Yes, they are all the same.

    B. It works but I get disconnected sometimes. Here is my thread about it: http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=56561&highlight=

I'm just worried that it might be the replaced antenna that's causing the disconnections, what do you think?
