    I was curious whether the new 260m or 280m would work in a m570ru, or am i out of luck.

    Highly unlikely.

    Although it would physically fit and if BIOS support was given would work, Clevo is unlikely to provide BIOS support as it could hurt sales of the M570TU

    im really not interest in the 200 series, re-branded g92 cards, but more-so with the ati lineup being compatible.

    @kaltmod:
    is it sure that the message corresponds to an abnormal functionality of the card (like underclock)?? or maybe it could work perfectly also displaying that message...?

    Maybe. didn´t do any performance test because of lack of proper heatsink. But driver install in windows is no problem.

    How much the message last??
    Which problems had in you with compatibility between 9800M GTX and 8800M GTX heatsink??
    The fact that drivers and windows works correctly it's a gooood thing!

    That would be awesome if someone would know how to make the bios recognize the card, I would love to have a 260 or 280 without having to buy a whole new notebook, i love mine :)
