    Hey,
Currently have a np8690, and it's starting to fall apart.

I'm planning on getting a gt60 0ne. While I love sager, MSI has a global 2 year warranty and os is included. Sager has a one year US only warranty and no os(I live in Canada.)
I was looking at the 9150, and the fact that it is a pound lighter and around a cm thinner is almost better than the warranty and the OS. But the one other thing that I really like about the gt60 is that it has two drives.
So, do you think the next Sager laptop will have 2 drives? Like maybe a 9350?
When do you think the next sager laptop will come out?

I don't think they will have a 15in with dual HDDs (unless you include msata).

Why do you not consider the NP9370 as an option? Too large?

I hope the next one will come with two hard drive bays like the current NP6350 but only time will tell if they put it on the higher end models.
Not having Windows preinstalled is actually seen as a benefit. When you get it preinstalled its also preintalled into the price. You have to pay for it even if you have a copy you can install yourself. Lets say you bought a Sager today, you could use the OS you have now instead of having to buy another copy.
There is the downfall of being in Canada as you mentioned. You do have to pay for shipping cost into get repaired but shipping back is covered. And you can send in just the bad part instead of the whole computer. Many resellers also offer a special warranty upgrade you can select that will also cover shipping costs in should you need warranty service.
The replacement for the NP9150 wont be until the next Intel CPU chipsets are out which probably wont be until around Q2 (estimate) next year.

    I didn't know about the 6350.
It's not for me, but thanks anyways.
I get your point about the OS, but the 9350 with the same specs as the 0ne(including upgraded warranty and canada warranty upgrade) costs $1973 without a cash discount. That's $73 more, and there is no OS. May as well get an OS if it doesn't cost anything(let alone gives you $73).
As a side not I'll get onto live chat with xotic tomorrow to talk about getting a laptop.

MSI GT60 ONE is $1899 base price on Xotic website. I must be missing something? That sounds WAY high for what that is compared to a 9150, and just get the HDD in the optical drive bay. The 9370 is $1618 base, plus $100 off, anyone who doesn't buy a Sager right now is really missing on a good deal.

If your into the clevo platform have you looked into an actual builder that warrants outside of the U.S.? Take a look at the Mythlogic web page because I think they warrant any system that they build and sell, even if you live outside of the U.S. Just another option to look into.

If you break into your MSI it voids the warranty as it has those little stickers covering access.

Really though, how often do you use the optical drive? I had ordered an MSI GT60 0NE only to return it and order a P150EM Clevo systemn I've got my SSD as well as my 750 GB cheaper SATA 2 drive in the optical bay.
