Just flashed EC and BIOS into my P150EM.

Tried to install win 8 with uefi enabled but I got an error "windows only can be installed in gpi mode" in selecting partition screen. I deleted all partitions but still getting same error.

I can install fine with uefi disabled in bios but I read that the performance I better with uefi enabled.

Also, does that mean if I install Win 8 in UEFI mode, it's harder to detect any USB drives that are not signed?

    Any idea?

Check this thread by hulawafu77, Clevo USB UEFI Windows 8

    Specifically, this part:
& no, it should not be 'harder' to detect any USB drives that are not 'signed'.

but I am using DVD that supplied from MSDN and there is EFI folder in the disc so I assume it's an EFI ready disc. or I need to use the USB stick for installation?

also, the Secure Boot in my BIOS is disabled and I can't change it.is that normal?

I don't think Secure Boot is available outside UEFI. Or maybe it could be from the flash.
