This was probably asked before and I'm sorry for asking again (I tried to find another topic about this but couldn't.)

Well I just got my new Sager 5750 laptop and I'm quite amazed by it. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to set up the Audio DJ buttons on the front of the laptop to work with Winamp.
Is this possible? And if it is could someone please tell me how to go about it.

    THank you for any help.

The Audio DJ has been on a number of Clevo notebook models now.

You should be using Winamp 5 and up. They have a built-in HotKey remapper.

:D Therefore, here is how to map your Audio DJ buttons with Winamp: :D
    Requirement: Winamp 5 and up

    1) Start Winamp, and go into the Preferences (Ctrl+P)
    2) On the left navigation, under the General Preferences, choose Global Hotkeys
    -Then check the Enabled box.

    3) Hightlight the Playback:play action, and go to the Action pull down menu on the bottom.

    4) Choose the Playback: Play/Pause option in the pull down menu.
Note: You have to do this because the Audio DJ button for Playing is also the same key for Pausing as well.

    5) Now in the bottom section where you see Hotkey, click in the "typeable area"
-Then (on you Audio DJ button panel) hit the Play/Pause button.
Note: you should see the hotkey has been configured in Winamp for that button now.
-Hit SET button to apply the configuration for this hotkey.

    6) You now want to highlight the Playback:pause that was already there, and hit the REMOVE button
(you don't need it since you have 1 key that does both Play & Pause)

    6) Repeat Steps 1 through 5 for the rest of the hotkeys.
    Which will be:
    Playback: Stop
    Playback: Previous in playlist
    Playback: Next in playlist
    Playback: Volume up
    Playback: Volume down
    [IMG]

    7) You just need to REMOVE everything else to match the picture above (unless if you want some of your own custom hotkeys).

    :D Thats it!!

    Enjoy

P.S. I was thinking of making a guide for this, well, this gave me the opportunity i guess. Chaz, is this Sticky worthy?... since most of the Sagers (as well as other Clevo OEMs) that are being sold have Audio DJ's?

When I press a button on the DJ AUdio it does nothing. Is it turned off or something?

Make sure the touchpad/DJ is not disabled. fn+f1, also the On/Off button doesnt do anything when the laptop is powered up.

    when do you press them?
is it during the hotkey setup in Step 5?

Winamp must be open before the Audio DJ keys will function.

Make sure that you dont have other programs that depend on the Audio DJ buttons, such as AverTV (tv tuner software that comes with some of these notebooks).

If they dont function at all, I would check the BIOS (or use Fn + F1 when in Windows) to see if the option for the keys is Enabled.
    Tell me how it goes.

Oh hahaha. I feel dumb. I had the touchpad disabled (I didn't think about it).
    Haha it works.
Thanks a lot for the quick help!

And in my opinion this should be stickied for other people.

    Thanks agian.

good post. would be nice if they made audio dj drivers that sync'ed up with winamp, wmp, etc. but, with that lacking, this will do nicely.

the Audio DJ actually acts more like an extension for the keyboard, since it does have the functionality, but just needs to my re-mapped for whatever program we use it with.
