    Hello people.

I have Clevo W230SS and I installed Windows 10 but i have facing sound problems.
My speaker is working very well but sometimes i didn't have any sound come from headphones. Sometimes a simple restart fix that error and others don't i'm not sure what causes that.
I just use realtek driver for W10 on laptop driver page. I notice on Device Manager it just detected 2 hardware: speaker and mic not headphones at least when i can't listen sound from earphones.

Please help. Because this is only problem i've been facing on Windows 10 and maybe i would return to old W7.
    Cheers.

Uninstall the realtek audio drivers using device manager. Reinstall your Nvidia GPU drivers (I know this sounds weird). Reboot. See if that works.

Have you tried removing the audio driver and rebooting? This would install the native Windows 10 driver; MAYBE that will help.

Also: Are your headphones set as the default playback device when you notice no audio coming from them? Or do they even show up in your Playback devices?

Yes i tried reboot but same thing.
Yes they are as default. This is what is more strange since sometimes don't show on Playback devices and even when it's show it's not guarantee working.

I know it's not plug problem because on Windows 7 and 8 i don't have any problems.

    Thanks.

In case this helps, I'm on Windows 10, but my headphones don't show up as a separate device in playback devices. When the headphones aren't plugged in, the playback device is Speakers. When the headphones ARE plugged in, the playback device is still Speakers, but the sound comes from the headphones and not the speakers.

Have you installed hotkey application and driver?
    If not, do it now!
Headphones have to be reinitialized after a suspend and EC app is responsible for this.

Yes VIA deck says headphone plugged on jack but it doesn't matter because there is sometimes works others don't work. It's stupid and i don't understand reason why.

Hotkey application not this time. Driver is not included during installation? Is this one, 06_Hotkey.exe?
I download from this website sagernotebook.com.

    Thanks to all!!
