Anyone else tried it?
I made a VHD and installed it to the VHD and it dual boots with my 8.1 install just fine. Didn't need a lot of drivers, just Hotkey, nVidia, and touch pad.
The only issue with it is that as usual, synaptic touch pad drivers suck and don't scroll how they are supposed to. Other than that, it's a pretty solid OS so far on my 9377.

My friend put it on an HP 6530b dual-booting with Windows 7, and just like in win7, all the drivers were autodetected. We had to temporarily turn off driver signing to install the generic Synaptics driver, but it was fine otherwise. Note that those drivers always seem to show driver signing warnings when installed, but Win8 and above seem to enforce that more. Also note that this laptop doesn't officially support multitouch (HP's drivers won't do it), but with newer generic drivers, it works quite nicely. Just as well as it does when you try that on 7.

The touch pad in this machine is a royal pain but I can't figure out why the scroll bar shows on the screen but it doesn't scroll with two fingers or one finger.. I suppose I can probably find a newer driver somewhere.
Still though, the fact the hotkey program works surprises me since it uses software hooks to control the EC for fan speed, power saving, etc.
It seems Microsoft did a pretty decent job with compatibility.

/legal We don't support Windows 10 until its final
To fix the odd scrolling thing
So just go into the Synaptics control panel (Not the mouse control panel), and under scrolling, change "Scroll item under pointer" to "Scroll Selected item"
Enjoy
-
That seriously is the fix? How come I don't have to worry about that with the same driver in 8.1? Lol. If that's all it is, I'll be using 10 as a daily driver to see what it's all about, thanks!
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk -
I think it has to do with new window composition with Windows 10. The driver doesn't know whats under the cursor, so it'll need a driver update to fix that once windows 10 comes out, but for now, yup thats the actual fix =)
-
Not only did it work, scrolling is MUCH better in 10 than it was in 8.1 with the same driver. +rep!
-
Thanks for the suggestion mythologic. Win 10 is working fine with my w230st. Haven't had anything crash or fail yet.

I've only had 1 issue, my GTX 675m wouldn't install. But this has been an issue ever since I bought it. However, I used to be able to get it to install by modifying the INF files in the driver installer... but it didn't work with W10, but did on W7... I consider this a good thing because it did detect I altered installation files (great security measure! except when you need it...) I force installed it with as an unsigned driver.
With that one issue out of the way (that you probably wouldnt experience) I've had no problems
Can't wait to see the finished product.
My only serious gripe atm. is the start menu offering you the opportunity to install apps. I can see a lot of users downloading garbage and wondering how it got there. -
I upgraded today for my P150EM and both my Intel HD 3000 and my AMD 7970m are not working <Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)>
Does not matter what I do I reinstalled the driver rebooting checked online for a solution .
Win 10 aint working for me so farLast edited: Aug 1, 2015 -

Not even the native driver is working? Win 10 has a stable driver for Intel HD 3000 graphics. Are you able to get just that working, at least? -
Only the native Intel driver that get installed from the Win update works, when I install the latest AMD drivers for Win 10 , reboot.
I can see that both adapters have the yellow exclamation mark and Clevo hotkey AP not working.
I followed MS forum about this and they said to unistall the device and then search for new hardware where it seems to work and solve the issue but in-game the PC crashed after 15 min

I just did a fresh install and this is what I get
-
AHAHAHA, it is AMD again.
And on top of that, the 7970M. -
Still? You're a sad, sad little man.
-
Sorry, however have you given AMDs latest driver a shot? As it is working fine for my p150em with the 7970m, in fact the performance went up a bit.remoaf likes this.

I upgraded on my p150sm-a.
The thing that infuriates me is that the colour profile (professional colour tuning) doesn't carry over, since i upgraded and expected that it should work). So i'm going to have to stick with the ugly default colour (which i'm not good at calibrating) unless i find a kind soul who has a generic colour profile.
My provider did gave me a win 8 colour profile cd, but it doesn't seem to work, so I reset to default windows 10 colour profile.
Mic and camera doesn't work, for some reason, and Nvidia released drivers for win10 that works. Other than that, haven't found any major caveats (as in driver related issues) -
Windows 10 working fine on P150HM.
But can't get the fingerprint to work... -
Yes my friend I tried several times
-
Fingerprint is working fine for my Clevos, are you using the win 7 or 8 version?
-
Testing Windows 10 out which touchpad driver are you using for Sager laptops?
-
I've personally been using the win 8 version from the clevo driver pages. Honestly, it's pretty much terrible, especially on the clevo that doesn't have physical buttons. Certainly still usable though.
-
I have the same P150EM, but only fingerprint problem (I cant chech finger to start sesion) and my games dont have the smooth visual as always. Maybe is de AMD driver
-
I have the same problem... i guess. I can use the PIN option in win10 that require fingers etc, but no fingerprint to start sesion.
-
this fingerprint driver version works as it should on win10 -
I have the 1.6 driver version, soo i need to unistall, search for the old version, and install? :C
-
this is what i did
-
Uff i really thinkingin downgrade to w8...
-
If you value your machine, I would do that... AMD machines are fine.. NVIDIA ones are kind of playing with fire with Windows 10 installed!
-
Well, rigth now I did a roll back. W10 is nice and smart, but W8 give me security...TomJGX likes this.

Everything works fine for me except the keyboard. when I log in to the windows the keyboard stop working for around a minute. then it works fine with no problem.
have you ever face this problem?
In fact I just remember I have this issue on shutting down or restarting the computer which seems to be the raid problem, maybe my hardware is faulty because I got some bluescreen on windows 8 about hard drive problem. When I shut down or restart the computer, as always it performs very fast and the LCD turns off but the laptop stay on for a minute or more before turning off. -

You can analyze the log files generated by the blue screens with either third party software or the Windows debug utility. That could shed some light on what the problem is.
I haven't come across the keyboard issue before. Have you tried to troubleshoot it yet? Uninstall the keyboard driver and reboot + test again? -
Can anyone help me with this?
I have a Clevo P177SM when i install windows 10 64x works fine until i start updadting it. after the first reboot keyboard an touchpad works fine so i can type the password to enter windows, after a few seconds keyboard and touchpad stop working and after few minutes computer just turn off. i have no idea wat is causing the keyboard to stop working and wy the computer trun off for no reason.
before upadating every thing works fine i left the computer on for 24hours with out a problem, but after i update:
> Keyboard and trackpad works before login, stops working few seconds after login.
> Few minutes after login computer simply turns off. Its is so fast that there is no time fo me to try and uninstall any update.
please help !!! -

Are you able to use shift + restart immediately after logging in to get to the troubleshooting options? You can try a restore point or even roll back to your previous build from there. -
what i will do im going to reinstall windows 10 and gona film the time that keyboard stops working and pc shuts down
-
Well, maybe this is not the solution that you need, but... I have the same machine, and the NVidia never worked in my win 10, because I didnt change the energy setup in the NVidia control panel. Now I can play in ultra etc.
Second, the AMD in the P150 have some problems (I remember someone say he have problems in one of the threads). Maybe you need to chech the compatibility... Right now my only problem is the fingerprint. I dnt know how to fix it. -
Just signed up to let you know I had the same issue with a 177sm and its a problem with the touchpad driver, NOT the keyboard driver (weird I know). If you uninstall the driver windows 10 has upgraded it to (you can right click the start menu to get to device manager and uninstall from there without the need to use your keyboard) you should find your keyboard working again. Currently hunting around for an up to date driver (I do actually like to use my touchpad on occasion) but so far I've only found those from 2013 for Windows 8.1. Anyway hope that helps.Abdullaj likes this.

Using Win10 on my Clevo P150EM.
Issues:
- I dont have Win10 drivers for the touchpad.
- The computer doesn´t turn off. I select "turn off" in Windows and all light except the light on the power button is turned off. I have to manually turn it off by pressing power button for a few seconds. -
I got bored and put Windows 10 on my P377SM-A last night. Much to my surprise, everything works. I only had to install the airplane mode driver, X-Fi MB3, the control center, and roll back my WLAN to the official Clevo since for some reason the latest Intel cut my speed down to 80-90Mbps (I have a 150Mbps connection and upon the driver regression, I saw peak speeds of 190 again). It came with nVidia 353.62 which I updated to 361.43. Works flawlessly and its faster than 8.1.
-
Which Intel WiFi card do you have? Because I have a feeling my speeds are being capped too...
-
7260. I had to use the Clevo 8.1 driver to get the adapter working correctly again but I would think it would be fixed by now.
-
I have the same Intel card.
Yeah i would have thought it would have been fixed too, but I have 50mb line and I'm not getting anywhere near that tbh. Also there are no official Clevo Windows 10 drivers for my machine it seems,no idea why since P370SM-A has them....
So I'm gonna try downloading the proper Win 8.1 drivers for my P370SM from the Clevo site and see if that improves things.
Did you just install the older ones over the newer drivers and overwrite them? -
I did indeed.
If the P370SM-A has a Windows 10 driver for the 7260, I'd use that one. -
Ah okay cool, I'll take a look and see.
Thanks for your help.
EDIT:
Well it seems Clevo doesn't have Windows 10 drivers for P370SM-A but XMG (P724 model) does, so I'm downloading them from MYSN site right now.Last edited: May 25, 2016Ethrem likes this. -
Good to hear that XMG has them for you. While Windows 8.1 drivers usually work on 10 just fine (the driver framework isn't that different), its always going to be optimal to get drivers made for 10 when possible.
-
I totally agree, well its asking me uninstall the current driver because I am apparently using a newer version :/
-
Yeah you will have to uninstall it. Actually, check and see if there's a roll back option in the device manager, thinking back on it that's what I did was roll back to the old version. If you install the old version, Windows may "help" you by installing the newer driver automatically via Windows Update...
