Go ahead and try a previous version for ex: 8.0134
-
but that one doesn't have fan control though

What about our listed 5.0000.0.11 for your model?

@Taiwo Akinde - What version is your BIOS? (It should look something like 12.34.56.)
-
I don't think it is how do I update my bios
-
I don't think I've tried that

That was just an example (provided because some people list their Aptio setup utility version instead). The BIOS version is three sets of two digits, each set divided by a ".". I don't recall what the latest version is, but if the second set is not "05," then your BIOS does not support Windows 10.
You update it by flashing it. Obtaining the files for flashing is up to your reseller, unless you use a third party to help you flash it. -

For the driver. -
Does it work on your device

I don't have access to your model to test it myself.
-
i've tried that too it froze my laptop touchpad, btw mine is P157SM not a P157SM-A
-
it says 4.6.5, 6/7/2013
-
But
in -
But in boot mode it's 1.00.4RLS1
-
In boot mode it says 1.00.04RLS1 & the KBC/EC Firmware revision is 1.00.04
-
i'm saying have u tried it on your own laptop before

I don't think that's your BIOS version - unless you're using a third party BIOS.
If you don't have a BIOS version ending in .05.01, it may not support Windows 10 properly. -
How do u find where ur bios is and also if it doesn't support it should I downgrade.
-

Reboot the computer, then hold the F2 key.
Once the BIOS setup utility appears, look for:
BIOS Version:
EC Firmware Verserion:
You should not need to downgrade. Upgrade, maybe; that depends on your version. -
It's a Windows 10 pro

Not your OS. Upgrade the BIOS (maybe).
You can downgrade your OS if you prefer. -

It has worked for other models, but you can't use the same software on all models.
