Ok guys im at my wits end here. I recently did a clean install of windows 8 and have managed to everything working fine, except for the wireless card. for one reason or another my driver disc that came with the computer is gone.

Ive been the clevo, intel, and realtek websites but none of the drivers I download work. When I got to device manager, under 'Other devices" there is "Network Controller" and "PCI Device" with the yellow question mark triangles next to them.

Can anyone please overlook my potential stupidity and help me figure out how to get this thing to work? I would be forever in your debt

    Cheers.

Do you happen to know what wireless card you have? Perhaps check your email records to view the configuration and make sure you're looking for the right driver.

I don't know if you are having the same problem I was having, as the new wireless card drivers for Win8 didn't work for me. The wireless card wasn't showing up at all in device manager, and nothing seemed to work. I called Malibal and they suggested flashing the BIOS to the newer one. I was very doubtful this would work, but I'll be darned if it didn't work immediately after I did it. I don't know if this is useful to you, but it fixed any problem I had with Win8.

I followed the link hutsady provided and downloaded the realtek wireless driver. I had to run it in compatability mode for windows 7 to get it to work but that appears to have fixed the problem. Thanks for you help guys.

Great to hear its working! I'll also keep in mind that it needed to be ran in Windows 7 compatibility mode in case others ask.

If Sager's put the driver in the Windows 8 folder, why does it need to be run with Windows 7 compatibility?
    Shouldn't it work as-is on Windows 8?

I agree that it seems weird that it runs in compatability mode. Now that you have it working, create a restore point, then try to update the driver in the Device Manager.
