If it's a sudden occurrence then there was probably a software change that is interfering. Has anything been installed recently - programs or updates - around the time the fast boot stopped working?
-
to be honest it never worked from start..dont know why.

can someone help me?

Could you be more specific about whats not working about it. I see by your sig you have a 7200RPM hard drive. Boot times are really dependent on your hard drive speed, that is probably why you're seeing the slow speeds. Get a SSD in there instead and you'll see boot times around 10 seconds.

windows does not boot fast and it does not do the hybrid shutdown/boot anymore.btw hybernation is enabled on my laptop, and all the checkbox are checked in the power options including fast startup.

Did you follow this guide ? http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/695285-how-clevo-usb-efi-install-windows-8-a.html -

Fast start up could still be working.
I found online: "Windows 8 does this by using a hybrid shutdown (a partial hibernate) method that saves only the kernal session and device drivers (system information) to the hibernate (hiberfil.sys) file on disk instead of closing it when you shut down your PC."
Your computer could still be doing this but are still limited to the 7200RPM drive speeds. How long is it taking you to boot? -
i find the solution to another forum.was perfectdisk 12.5 fault.i unistalled and all fine now.fast boot works like charm!!my laptop boots in 8 secs!!
