Hello,
I just installed windows 8.1 and it seems to have cleared my custom color profile for my monitor calibration.
This is what it currently looks like...

When I change my system default, nothing happens. I also can no longer reload the current calibrations, it is now greyed out. Can anyone tell me how to get the settings to load properly?
Thank you!

When you click on the profile shown under ICC Profiles and "Set as Default" nothing changes?
-
Correct, I can set either to default and nothing changes. I'm stuck with the standard washed out look.

Same happened to me :/ it looks terrible

Same happened to me ! It's all washed out now, for example this lockscreen http://www.wallpele.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Lock-Screen-Windows-8-HD-Wallpaper.png used to have quite vivid colors, now it's all grey and dull. I contacted my reseller, but I wouldn't be surprised if they refused to send me back the .icc.
Edit : I tried the profile Prema uploaded a long time ago for the screen of the p370em3, but even if it changes the colors, they still are washed out... http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/621032-need-calibration-profile-120hz-3d-lgd02c5-3.html -
I tried a couple different things last night and nothing has worked. I don't feel confident enough in myself to calibrate it myself. I'll try contacting xoticpc and see if they can help me out.

Give our tech support a call or email. Unfortunately I dont know enough about 8.1 to offer a fix.

Just got an update from Eric in our service dept, he did provide this link with a solution Display color profiles broken after upgrading to Windows 8.1 - Super User.

Lucky you, my calibration profile simply isn't listed anymore :s.
-
Go to
1. Color Management
2. Advanced Tab ---> click Change System Defaults
3. On the first tab (Devices), click Add down at the bottom
4. Scroll around until you find your custom profile(Normally the first one under ICC profiles)
5. Select it and click Okay
6. Select your profile in the big window and click Set as Default Profile
7. If nothing changes, make sure you have the Use Windows Display Calibration box checked and click Reload Current Calibrations(Found in the Advanced Tab).
That should fix it, if your custom profile no longer shows up in the installed list then you have to find some way to install a new one. -

You need clean install Windows 8.1 , update from 8 to 8.1 is bad idea. Also your custom ICC profile can be here Windows\system32\spool\drivers\color , try to search.

I had many problems as well when i upgraded to win 8.1, did a clean install as well and now all is great again. i used the dutch version here and it was this iso: nl_windows_8_1_x64_dvd_2707297 no idea if its different then the RTM ones. but with the RTM version i had an issue that my laptop was hanging at the bios screen and not booting. Didnt have that now
Windows 8.1 erased my color pofile, please help.
