Having some problems with my new sager P8150. When I put it into sleep, it occasionally crashes, so when I start it I receive notification of the crash, and the screen is offering a list of stop options (safe mode, normal, etc).

Any ideas what could be causing the crash?

I tried a few optimization tweaks, but they seemed to make windows more unstable, so I reverted to my original restore point. Since Ive only tweaked by reducing the pagefile to 1GB. It isnt a huge issue, but it's frustrating im having a new machine crashing on me.

What configuration do you have? Some of the main causes for crash at sleep are:

    1) SSD firmware needs updated
    2) Video card drivers (reinstall them)
    3) Faulty memory (rare)

Hey Malibal, thanks for the help.

    My config is : Intel 510 120GB SSD, 6990m, 8GB DDR3, 2670qm in the P8150

It doesnt crash consistently, which is good. Just seems like if I leave it in sleep mode for a while, it has a fair chance to occur. Ill try updating my SSD firmware as I havent dont that yet, but I did reinstall an updated version of the video driver, so hopefully that isnt the problem. Fingers crossed it isnt the memory!

    Thank for your help
