    I'm not sure what the score should be either. When I O/C the card to it's max I get 7.7. Just curious as to what others are getting, especially given all the trouble enduro has been causing...

    Actually in your case it might be driver related... I used to get 7.3 until I upgraded to the 12.6 official drivers

    The HD 5970 was out when Windows 7 officially released, and it is more powerful than the 7970M. 7.9 should represent the fastest available when Windows 7 first came out.

    Yeah... don't trust WEI, it's constantly adjusting anyways so it might've been 7.9 back then, but it's probably lower now. There's also a ridiculous BS with Intel integrated graphics looking really good on WEI. I had a 6.3 WEI score with my 330M, the HD3000 on my roommate's laptop got 6.4... which is total BS since mines was at least 50% more powerful

    I believe that 7970m must score 7.9 as on alienware. My old 5870m scores 7.3 on both aero and gaming score when overclocked

    My 6990m scored 7.7 in both WEI tests. But ever since I updated to 12.6 Catalyst, Im getting 7.6
    Weird....

    This is got to be driver-related.
    Either the driver is outputting wrong info for the WEI, or it just makes the WEI tests run crappy (so we get lower scores).
    I'd like to have my score back to 7.7, but Im happy with my drivers....
    On a more off-topic note: I am waiting for P370EM and drooling to have it with the Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi MB2 and Crossfire/SLI cards! :cool: Who is with me! :radar:

    Lol you're worrying way too much about wei, it's total BS... i have a 6.8 :D but we all know the 7970 is about 70%+ faster :p

    You mean WEI = Wandomly Equated Integer, though then it wouldn't make sense because it's not an integer, since there's a decimal place. Btw, I clicked View and print detailed performance and system information and found it's using the integrated Intel HD 4000 card. Anyone know how to switch it to use the 7970m?

    Indeed. I used to get 7.3 for my 7970M, and then suddenly I was getting 7.6. Nothing had changed.

    With The latest Nvidia Driver 306.97 I Get 7.7 With My 680m
    This is a great Improvement of Older drivers which gave me only 7.1
    :)
