Windows update is finding this update for my monitor... Any conflicts if I install it since I don't have a Lenovo ThinkPad?

    Anyone tried it yet?

I can only assume it'd cause conflicts with the system.

Its just new color profiles, an echo of the V4 screens being commissioned for the Lenovo W510, you can ignore it as your screen was calibrated by us. Don't worry about it.

How did you calibrate the V4 matte screen? I'd like to know, considering I have the same screen being put in mine.

We calibrate them with a Spyder3 Colorometer with DisplayEyes Pro software. But the calibration is exclusive to us.

It shouldn't be a display driver, Windows Update never finds nVidia/AMD display drivers. I'm going along with mythlogic here, it's just color profiles for your hardware display itself.

That's just plain wrong... Windows update regularly gives me nvidia updates on my xps1530... They're just a few days behind so if you are always updating your drivers they won't give you new ones. I don't game any more on my xps so I'm lazy there.

Soon as we can get confirmation we can get them, as an upgrade to the 460's, like other guys I can BUY them straight up but then it costs more than a 485m for just the card hehe.

But as soon as we can get them here in the states we'll have them up on the site.

    Yay!!

Now to nitpick, will there be any way configure a P151HM with an HD6870m? I like the non-rubberized coating of this model more than the P150...

Is it even smart to cram a 6970m into a 15" chassis? Am I asking too many questions? Lol :(

IN theory you should be able to stick a 6870m into a P150/P151, I can tell you that there is no BIOS support for it, just the 6970m, but it should still work. The 6970m is a 100W card just like the 485m and people are loving on their 485's in a 15" chassis. Now making a P150 with a non-rubber coating..... Keep an eye out :p, we got a lot of things in the ole skunk works.

You guys should have a section on your website forum to talk about the stuff you're experimenting with ;) that'd be sweet. Probably bring a lot more traffic to your site too :)

    That's what I meant...6970 instead of 6870 :(

And yay! I'm hoping for a summer buy so it should be a fun time!!
