A week ago, I bought a program called ch341a + test clip to fix the bios of the computer.
chip: winbond w25X80vsig. Sometimes he sees this chip for a second. I'm trying to write, but he says the file is big. I say write to her though. It looks hollow (FFFF - like, Sometimes he writes to skip lines.) when it is finished. What is the solution to the problem?

Do you have a full bios dump, bios files that are used for updates are usually only partial bios and can't be used with those programmers, also it sounds like your clip isn't fully seated

I tried to install it in windows environment with "winphlash". But I got the error message. Meanwhile the size of the chip is "8MBit SPI Flash, 1Mb, SOIC-8". Also when I looked at the compatibility list, I saw that it was compatible. How can this be all of the previous versions of "1.02 MB" size?! -
BIOS chip is around 4MB/8Mbit. You will see faint red led glowing if you hit Detect in ch341a programmer GUI which means the BIOS chip and SOIC test clip can communicate and you should Read and save as bin file.

My bios chip is 1Mb/8Mbit in size. There are "Rom" or "Wph" files. Is the bios file wrong?Vasudev likes this.

Those are update files, you need a bios dump.
Also, you now also need an EC dump because you are trying to flash the BIOS in the EC flash..
All around, STOP, and ask for help and understand what you are doing before you continue trying and not going anywhere. -

No, it just has a bit of padding at the end. The programmer will warn you about this, but if you proceed anyway then it'll write the binary from the start until it reaches the end of the chip, skipping the bits that won't fit on the eeprom. With some Dell bioses it's the other way around; padding at the beginning, so using one of those in the way you have would've been a certain brick.
Without seeing those bios files I'd have guessed exactly the same as senso had; an 8Mbit eeprom is really, really tiny for a bios. You see them in cheap model or very ancient ones. Didn't recognise that Clevo model nr. so guessed a new line-up, but yes; a tad old and it is an actual and complete bios file, so an 8Mbit eeprom would indeed be a proper size for this system.
However, the laptop also has other firmware besides the bios, so how do you know you've got the correct eeprom? Does the U number match that in the schematics or is it labeled 'BIOS' on the motherboard pcb? But even if you're dead certain then the first step should always be to read out the old data on that chip before erasing/overwriting it. Bit of caution would've been in order, as senso has mentioned already.
Bit late for that backup now, but you might have the correct eeprom after all. That ' sometimes sees the chip' is not a very good sign though. Attach the clip again and read out the newly-written chip. Then do a hex compare between the original bios file you flashed and the dump ( HxD -> Analysis -> File compare). If it isn't a perfect match then either the clip is indeed wobbly-attached or the eeprom+mb setup doesn't let you use ISP programming (flashing while embedded in the system). If so then take a soldering iron, remove the chip and program it off-board. Read out once more and do a final hex compare; it should match perfectly now.
And you haven't mentioned a CMOS battery reset anywhere. That should've been the first bullet on the list before resorting to a programmer ...

I've already sent a message to the clevo german. He told me this is Bios and the chip is IC flash 8M "MX25L8005 SOP-8" (winbond with me). Then I asked him to send me the bios file. But since 13.12.2018 still could not send. He doesn't even answer. Is there any difference in the bios file from the chip to the chip? I tried different programs (asprogrammer). The other program says that "the size of the file is IC large". and not writing. I remember doing "CMOS battery reset" right after it was broken.
