Do you think Nvidia later this year would rerelease the 675M and 670M with Kepler architectures? Or has their history said this is something they wouldn't do? I only ask because according to wikipedia and somewhat proven by these specs, there are two different variations of the GTX 640M LE which include a Fermi version and Kepler version.

There is precedent... I recall they did something similar with the desktop 460. Initially it was a GF104 core and very, very popular. After they released the 500 series they re-branded some 560s (GF114) as 460s to keep selling them like hotcakes, so there is a 460 with the GF114 core. While that's not quite the same, I believe you could dig up precedent for the same kind of thing. Once they figure out whatever manufacturing issue or whatever it is that's keeping them from releasing a Kepler 670/675, they'll probably do it. That or the 700 series will hit first, at which point it should all be Kepler. That, or they may just be trying to still sell old Fermi chips that they manufactured and had on hand still, so they'll keep doing it until they run out of stock on hand. 580m didn't sell as many as we thought it would? Call it a 675m, and knock a few bucks off the price tag!
I wish there was a Kepler-based 670/675 too. I'm waiting for the W370ET to come out to see how a GeForce 660m performs in a Clevo before investing my hard-earned money. I've got plenty of Fermi chips in my collection... I don't want to blow more cash on last year's tech when this may be the last big tech purchase I make for a while. -
Uh no. I doubt that.
If they are going to release a x70 or x75 kepler model, they will do that for the 775 or 770 instead IMO, instead of offering whatever is coming after Kepler.
Would Nvidia rerelease the 675M and 670M as Kepler?
