With the 5870 in my 8760, the Crysis Benchmark_gpu (at 1920x1080, no AA, 64-bit, DX10) runs at about 33fps on Very High and about 55.7fps on High. Assault_Harbor (Very High) runs at 28.5fps. I have a faster processor, but that would probably be offset by the lower resolution in your configuration. You should be fine.
