Yes, yes it will.

Yep.
The only thing that is necessary to fit in a standard notebook, is the 2.5" HDD Size. -
btw I recommend just going on froogle and clicking through every website till you find one in stock. You'll find them in stock at some of the lesser known sites...also get the G, its only like 10 dollars more but has a gyroscope which is good. Its worth the extra 10 bucks.

Make sure to get the ST9500420AS or ST9500420ASG
Seagate also has a 500gb 7200rpm 2.5" drive under their Constellation series, which is not only thicker than a standard harddrive but it need a 12V line, and it comes in SATA, SAS and Fibre. Stay away from the constellation series, it will not work in any laptop

just type in ST9500420AS (or ST9500420ASG if you want it) in froogle and keep clicking till you find a store that has it in stock. Besides the lesser known stores usually sell it for like 10 dollars less.
but yea like K-Tron said...stick to the ST9500420AS(G). Make sure thats in the title.
Would this HDD Fit?
