As many of you might know, lately ive been having heating issues, it nearly hit 90 deg.C. the shutdown limit.

So i called Xoticpc.com and told them about it, they gave me an RMA number (i thought i was over the 15 day policy but guess not). Attached the RMA and UPS label and shipped it out. Didn't pay for a thing, wonderful.

It shipped out monday, got to Sager ON WEDNESDAY (with 3 day select, BOTH WAYS).

Then, i get a knock on the door this FRIDAY, and its the UPS guy. I signed it and thought "No way, can't be! they mustve returned it back coz the address might be wrong or something." . I couldnt believe it, i actually got my new NB and this time , it runs COOL. my temps don't spike up to 85 deg. C. anymore. i used to IDLE around 69 deg C. thats crazy hot........Now i idle between 40 ~ 48 C. depending on wht im doing.

THANK ALOT YOU GUYS at Xoticpc and Sagernotebook. This has been the fastest turn around time i have EVER experienced :).

Nope, didnt get charged. but i know i wasnt going to get charged.

If its free (which i doubt it) then go for it. But otherwise (like the guys said) dont bother, doesnt really help.

might help if using the battery when unplugged, gives you more time to work with stuff by saving hdd access power. But useless imo since its a desktop replacement. Now i know wht ure thinking, why did i get it then? well, i wanted to save bootup time but ive been testing it and im still not too sure it helps.

heres the thing, get you lappy first, test it out. if you like it (you will) then decide to get a robson memory, then just buy it from either Xoticpc or amazon.com . And just remove bottom lid and install it, done.
