I searched around the forum and there is a new model coming around December with Sandy Bridge processors and 120hz Screen? Is that correct or just rumours? After trying the 580M, I realized that I need more GPU power but still don't want to go to a desktop route. I would like to try a dual GPU setup now but I really want the 120hz screen. I have no idea why Alienware or Clevo is not already offering this option on their dual GPU systems. Any new info on the X7200 refresh?

most likely because the boards they use in these models don't support the 50pin connection needed for 120hz.

At this time there is no ETA for a Sandy Bridge E Clevo laptop, (the possible successor to the x7200).

We hope when this does arrive, it will have a 120hz screen and other goodies, because it will be the most powerful, fastest, laptop on earth! ... :)

Isn't that already the case of the current x7200? :)

That is true, but you don't have the bells and whistles! 3D is becoming a more and more common request, so to offer that with the power from the 7200 would be huge.

Holy Flying Spaghetti Monster, 400~500W PSU? That thing would be HUGE. Might as well just buy a desktop PSU and mod it. :p

And lets hope about XTU. Such a handy utility, for sure.

Not necessarily. The technology is there...just a little expensive.

The below was posted yesterday... :)
