    Hello fellas,

I was wondering since I will buy a pc in the middles of May, if I could get some help, Im living in Africa atm and I will go on vacation to Portugal (home) for few weeks my current laptop with 5 years its giving is last breath, the only problems I had was with heat, and very hard to access the main parts for cleanning, I search around and I was planning to get a Asus g73 then the g74 come out, I made more searchs and found that they are hard to upgrade, clean etc. so I also hear that Clevo was nice, I found this in Portugal: X8100 460GTX SLI

Seams pretty nice, I want a notebook that can replace a desktop, to work ArcView, GIS, PS, 3D, 3D Visualization for movies and gaming ofc :D

    Mobile Processors - Benchmarklist - Notebookcheck.net Tech

5th best core, 1st of mobile, comparing to asus its way better... I would only change the primary disk to a SSD 120GB.

Ok so I would love suggestions, I wont need bluray for now, would like to hear about prices, problems with incompatibilities that may appear since for example is a 2x GPU, and yes I wish the price dont goes higher then this... Well what I wanna hear mostly is if its a fair price, if I should wait with my decisions since Im buying in May only, I was planning to spend max of 2000€ but looks like much better option to spend 600€ more and get this... and need to clean a lot, too much dust in Africa ><

You are confusing the i7-920XM Clarksfield (#18) with i7-2920XM Sandy Bridge (#5).
Portugal doesn't have many Clevo resellers, if you traveled to France you could get
a better x7200 with Crossfire HD6970M at a comparable price.
Clevo X7200 Bi gPU xTREME chez Invasion-Labs..!

hehe yeah I guess I totally missed the "2" :D your sugestion is nice but
do you know if its cheap in Belgium? I will make transit in Belgium for some hours so I could go around Bruxelles, but then would be praying so I wont need to take it to warranty, and azerty keyboard its a pain... perfect would be UK, Spain, my sister is living in UK so she could take care of easy, and I would love to get 3D and ATI lacks it right? And it could be another then Clevo, but ye Clevo seams balanced price/power :p

Here is a 2009 listing of Clevo resellers in Europe

    Portables4Gamers

although some have gone under since then such as Inforlandia (Portugal) and XXODD (Netherlands).

Good! thank you! UK seams like a nice option to me :)

Edit: Well I sent an email to WSI to ask if its possible to make it my way and how much it would be costing maybe I can get a decent price even if its little more expensive then other places, cause it may get a little higher to ship and for warranty I still prefer Portugal! Would make things a lot easier :)

    Intel® Core™ i7 920XM Extreme or superior 950/960

nVIDIA® GeForce GTX 485M (and SLI in future)

    SSD 120 GB + 500/1000GB

    at least 8GB RAM 1333

    Fingerprint would be nice :>

    HDMI output port

USB 3.0 at least 1 port
