I've got an x8100 with dual 5870m cards, but I've had graphics-related issues with it since I bought the rig a few years back, I'm looking to upgrade to something else/swap to nVidia cards. Does anyone know how high I can go and what steps I would need to take? (Other than physically replacing the cards, of course.)

From what I've been able to gather so far I may also need to change the heatsinks that came with them, but I want to get a little more information before go forward if I do at all.
