    X8100 or D900F for Supcom 2

    Anybody have any opinions or concerns over the performance of Supreme Commander 2 on either of these 2 laptops.

    I am torn between the 2 at moment and I played original supcom and FA to death on my Desktop but I have donated that to my daughter so she can play Oblivion :S

    Anyways I plan to play this game online and the performance of this game will be an important part of the decision on which laptop i eventually go with.

    SupCom is/will be processor intensive, so the D900F will win out, but the X8100 should have no problems playing it either.

    The X8100 could be better if Clevo allows overclocking on it and you get a 920XM. Mandrake was able to score over 20,000 CPU score in 3dMark vantage with it overclocked on the Asus G73JH. The 920XM overclocks exceptionally well, better than any mobile chip before it, so the X8100 might be a better option if you want SLI and a powerful processor (providing Clevo wakes up, and allows overclocking).

    Check this out for an idea of what the 920XM can do.
