XMG P507 OVERHEATING

Hello there,

I've noticed that my 7700hq has been running hotter and hotter whilst playing Wow and other mainstream games.
The air temperature for sure increased a lot (now I got 32 degrees) but reaching outrageous 97 degrees is unreasonable.
As you can see, I've using ThrottleStop and it doesn't seem to be helping. Also, look at top left, to the MSI Afterburner OSD, it doesn't show a high load, but still has an enormous temperature.
What should I do?
My specs:

Schenker XMG P 507 PRO (Clevo P651HS-G)
I7 7700HQ
GTX 1070 Laptop(not Max-Q)
AUO52ED FHD Display G-Sync
8Gb HyperX Impact
SSD 500gb M2 Crucial MX500
SSHDD Firecuda 1TB

Also, I've been running at the maximum fan speed while gaming, trying to plummet those temperatures. Using the laptop on top of a thick and flat glass desk.
PS: I've noticed that I'm Idleing on 55 degrees.

 

Repaste with IDDiamond and you're back to the normal temps.

 

Unfortunately, where I'm currently living(Brazil) I can't find neither IC Diamond nor Thermal Grizzly (this one I found, but for almost 100usd). Also, with the current customs delays and taxes, importing is not an option.
Does Artic Silver 4 or Artic Ceramique 2 would help? Those I can find for a good price and stock

 

Artic silver 5 or MX4 are both decent as well, they may not be as good, but they shouyld do the trick I suppose.

 

Nothing like ICD but AS will still get you significant benefit over stock (at least compared to what Intel was shipping with).

 

Mx4 can pump a bit but does perform well.

 

Any Gelid Extreme in your area?

 

I managed to find Arctic Silver 5, Arctic Ceramique 2, Cooler Master GelMaker Nano, some Thermaltake ones(tg3 tg4 tg7) and Akasa 450 and 455.
Of those, as far as I know, only AS and CM nano is good(both expensive as hell, but I'm willing to pay that to drop down my temperatures) and I would better be served with toothpaste than the other ones.

 

Ceramique is not terrible iirc.

 

Both are absolute junk and will need repasting every 2-4 weeks.

CM Maker Nano should be miles better than AS5.

 

coolermaster is the best of those.

it performs similair to GC gelid, it's better than AS5

A Kryonaut é mais cara e a Gelid é tão boa quanto.

 

Wow, I totally forgot about MegaMamute, they have it. Is 1g enough for repasting CPU and GPU? Cuz my heatsink is integrated.

 

You dont need much at all, that's fine. Though more gives the chance to try again.

 

That's fine. Most tubes are overkill for a single application.

 

On the megamamute site, there is gelid extreme 5g, probably best, in case you need to reapply and the price per gram is much better.
