    XMG P702 WLAN Problem

    I got my XMG P702 today and I began installing the drivers from the disk. I have reached the WLAN Driver installation and it says "Device was not found or please enable it before installing its driver!!". I have pressed Fn+F11 to activate it and I am only getting the OFF image in top left no matter how many times I press it. What may be the problem ? :|

    have to ask this first.
    did you order with operating system already installed. if so then all your drivers would be upto date.

    next. even though it says it cant find it go to your network connection in the task bar and see if that picks anything up. with the connection page open try Fn + F11 again and see if it picks any signal up.

    im at work now so cant check it out for you so it might be best to give the live chat support a shout if you are in the uk and if not a email to germany support.

    No I installed windows by myself and started with drivers. It doesnt show any networks in taskbar.
    Also where can I get live support from MYSN ? As I do not see the option on their website , only phone number ...

    as far as i know its only available on the uk website > mySN UK | XMG | by Schenker Notebooks left hand side of screen.

    if its grey then leave a message and they will get back to you and if its green they are ready to chat.

    Managed to solve it by calling support from DE. Problem was that the CD driver was not for my BIGFOOT Killer card so I had to go on their website and download the driver from support section and solved my problem.

    Had exactly the same problem :) and I panicked as the LED is also not working :p and also because I didn't want to send it back (my precious :))...

    It was already around 10:30pm and I thought of creating a support ticket on mysn.co.uk and to my surprise the Live Support was ON :) .....He helped me out with the link to driver from Killer and it all worked fine.

    mySN's support is excellent.

    @cristwelrine is you WLAN led working ?

    Yes now that the card is working as well it is working. When I didn`t have the driver for it it was not working. Did it not work for you after you got card running ?

    No the LED is not working for me :( although the Wifi is working gr8.
    So I guess its ok. Dont want to send it back for a stupid LED :))

    ive seen them online at silly o clock as well. i know its not coffee so it must be the red bull :D
