    XMG U705 availability?

    Hi,

    Just wanted to check on current availability of XMG U705 (with GTX970 and IPS screen).
    Main reason for asking is that I'd ordered a similar laptop (based on P771ZM-G) from Scan UK, and last week, over a week after I'd ordered, was told that the chassis is no longer available.
    I was hoping to order one as soon as I've received my refund. I'm tempted to wait for the replacement (P77xDM?) but I think it'll probably be too expensive at launch (DDR4 prices?.
    That, and the fact that I've already got 16GB HyperX DDR3L ram, and a 256GB SM951 to put in it.

    Our website is kept up to date daily with stock availability so I can only confirm the information shown on the configuration page (I can't link directly to it as it's against forum rules, but I'm sure you already have the web address!). We currently only have the 980M non G-Sync available but the 970M non and both 970M and 980M with G-Sync will be available again around the 10th September as per the ETA on our website. There is lots of demand for the current model, hence re-stocking on the 10th.

    Hi, we don't have the U705 available with 970M non-Gsync unfortunately. The option has been taken off our website because of the impending DM update, though we will have 970M G-Sync U705 (ZM) available again towards the end of this week.

    Getting a bit complicated with old and new chassis, Gsync and non-Gsync availability but all that's available online now is the 17th September ETA for 970M and 980M both with Gsync.
