I'm waiting to hear back from support on this, but my Clevo p650re3 from Xotic PC just arrived with a trackpad that barely functions.

    Observed behavior thus far:
    1. Very frequently (sometimes as often as every few seconds) the trackpad will completely freeze the location and not respond to movement. During this time the left and right mouse buttons on the trackpad actually function (I can click/open the right click menu) but I can't move the mouse. The rest of the machine appears to work just fine.
    2. Frequently the scrolling functionality of the trackpad completely ceases to function. I have not yet isolated whether this is related to the item above, or whether it is a separate issue.

This is one of those things where you boot up the machine and notice it right away. So I'm not only very interested in knowing what the heck is wrong with my brand new $1500+ purchase, but why in the heck neither Sager nor XoticPC caught this issue before it shipped. Definitely one of those "they would have to be turning a blind eye to not notice the problem" kind of issues.

Try double checking your touchpad drivers. I'm not sure what machine this is to link you to the correct place on Sagers website but it could just be a driver issue. Try starting here- http://www.sagernotebook.com/drivers.php and just put your model number in and look for the touchpad drivers.

Also if you PM me or email your order number so i can look a little deeper into it we will get it figured out. I'm very sorry for the issue you are experiencing.

Certainly worth a call to them if you are having issues, sometimes there can be options to disable the touchpad when typing which can kick in.

Have you tried Fn and F1 on it? that toggles the touchpad on and off.

But let us know if there is anything we can do to help though.

I'd call but unfortunately their hours are not helpful for someone who works during the day on the West Coast :( Origin has 24hr phone support that has let me solve my problems at night when I'm not at work or on the weekend when I have downtime.

I'll try it next time it happens. Not sure why I should have to do that though...

Alex, I PMed you my order ID. Also just responded to Tanner with my support ticket. Tanner suggested I install a driver at http://www.sagernotebook.com/drivers/mouse/p6x0rx/win10/05_Touchpad.exe

When I downloaded it and tried to run it, it said the current driver installed is newer, so I decided not to install it.
