or if the legendary hutsady is in the house.?

Also I know hutsady you said I can call tech team to get guidance on installing ssd. do they also provide help on win 7 usb installation and driver guidance and thermal paste? (this is what happens when you are cheap and try to save a few bucks)

Win7 usb installation is super easy. Just make sure you have .iso of the install disk and then use the tool at this link to create your bootable drive:

    Microsoft Store Online

Run it from any of the black USB 2.0 ports (not the blue 3.0 ports) and press F7 to get the boot menu where you can choose to boot from the flash drive.

After that, it's as simple as following the installer and choosing the disk you want to install it on.

For drivers, use your driver CD (which should have them all, albeit possibly old), your retailer's site, or this thread:

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/573379-clevo-driver-thread.html

Follow the service manual (thanks to Theriko) below (choose the one for your model, as I'm not sure what you have) for how to access the parts you wish to apply new thermal paste to. The exact application of paste depends on the type you're using. Just google for specific instructions. I've posted Arctic Silver and IC Diamond instructions because they're just the most popular. To clean off the old paste, use a microfiber cloth and 90% rubbing alcohol.

The two notebooks I got from XoticPC both skipped phase 3, it when from Phase 2 (Sent for Custom Building / Testing / Burn In & Final QA) to Phase 4 (Order Shipped). Both were at a time when Sager had delays in production (Intel issue and Christmas), so I cann't give a good eta between the two.

    Hello sir!
Phase 2 is the build phase, which can take 3-7 business days. Phase 3 is for custom work like Redline boost or custom skin that is done by Xotic instead of Sager, yours will skip phase 3 and go to phase 4 which is the shipped phase. We'll email you a tracking number once it does ship.

You can give our tech support a call or get ahold of me directly for help with the SSD, drivers, and thermal compound. I'll be happy to help.

Looks like Anthony has provided some excellent links for helping with those questions too.
