So I'm buying a laptop, and already ordered it from sager (backordered till march) so I can still change it... I'm wondering If I should go thru the hassle of changing it, or just keeping it the same, or if its even worth it.

custom gaming laptops - Welcome to Sager Notebooks at sager, 1153.something is my price. (standard 1 year warranty)

Sager NP5160 Custom Laptop (Built on the Clevo W150HN)
at xotic $1085.something is my price here (the difference is at sager, office is included in price, but xotic you can choose to not add it, thats the difference. also 3 year warranty... OR 2 year sager warranty)

sooo whats the differences in warranty's? whats better? should I bother switching from sager to xotic? hows the customer service at both, and hows the reviews for xotic?

IMO i think you should go for xotic if you don't mind making the switch. I ordered at Xotic and the sales rep has been really helpful with all the questions I had and everything.

You can not install Windows 7 and the office software stuff if you already have a copy of it and use those savings for another upgrade. Like the HD screen, IC Diamond compound, or 500GB (w/ 4GB SSD Memory) Seagate XT 7200RPM NCQ Hybrid (Serial-ATA II 300 - 32MB Cache)

if you don't have windows you can get it here Windows 7 Student Discount it'll save you like prob 20-30 dollars.

And I don't think you need the dead pixel warranty, lol i know you're a bit weary cause of you're last laptop thing, but you can also return your laptop within 30 days to Xotic for whatever reason and you can also use THOSE savings for a different upgrade ;D

I see that it says it on the box, but just to double check this is an upgrade and not the full retail version right? You can't install an upgrade W7 on a machine that doesn't initially have vista/W7

When I ordered mine I got it through xoticpc and they were amazing. I had several issues with backorders then I reordered something different. Then there was an issue with the check. Though all the problems and issues they were all solved with no anger or disagreement. And I never had to ask for a manager or anything like that.

All I can do is rave about xoticpc. I have never ordered from sager itself so I don't know howthey are but I'm sure they are also good
