I've never done a wire transfer before. Can anyone let me know if HSBC's personal banking account with wire transfers will qualify for the cash discount offer from XoticPc.com ? I tried initiating a transfer and it started asking me all these questions about the beneficiary and beneficary bank information and intermediate bank details. Also details like the SWIFT or CHIPS Id.

I'm assuming Xotic Pc will provide this information necessary?

Also as an aside, are there any other rebates floating around aside from the standard 50 off 1350 spring sale and the cash back discount if I'm purchasing the Sager 9370? Thanks.

Xotic will provide wire transfer details; it can be a bit daunting when you see it but once you provide the bank with the info they will all understand. I had to endure the same thing when I got my D900F over 3 years ago, but it worked out pretty well. I don't know about your bank specifically, but if they're able to do a wire transfer then you should be perfectly fine.

Wire transfer gives you "cheaper" deal at the cost of waiving protection for company indemnity.
E.g. if some problems are there, you order gets delayed and company goes bust before you receive your order, you will never get your money back. We have seen plenty of people with such experiences on these very forums.
Its for you if you want to take on this risk. Generally I'd recommend to use PayPal or credit (not debit) card only to purchase such expensive items.

the swift codes are the bank id numbers that should be provided by xotic.
do note that when you initiate a bank transfer you will be charged a service fee by your bank (hsbc) and depending on your country, you may also be charged another service fee by the receiving bank. so your final charges may range from 20-75usd. of course if you are a valued client, these charges may be waved.
also as mentioned by ingvarr, you lose a certain amount of buyer protection when doing so.
considering the charges and higher purchase risk, i would stick to a credit card if i were you.

After you place your order we'll process the order then email you all the bank wire info needed to send the payment.
As Invigarr mentioned, I have seen one shop close up and people had problems getting their money back. I guess I cant say its impossible for this to happen I sure hope it doenst :(.
