Well, I'm glad that someone can see how frustrated I am that, in the 2.5 months I've waited for the SLI, that:

    1) I could have got it in the UK - albeit for about £250-300 more - but with 3 year collect & return warranty (Rock Direct have had the chance to stock this notebook since last year - but they finally decided to list it in February! - to piss me off!) - fair enough I wouldn't have got the same spec as I got from Xotic, but I would have got piece of mind that Rock would collect and return the notebook at no charge.

    2) Competition from mainly Dell had got there first - and you gotta admit it - yes it's slower, but it's defnitely better looking thanks to it's light's - not that I'm instantly swayed by things like that - as the Clevo appears to be better designed internally.

    3) The deal that I'm getting with Xotic may still look good, but good deals don't look good forever, hopefully we've got the Sager SLi problem narrowed down to a few more weeks, but in that time, all it takes is for the competition to drop their prices, and that 'good deal' I'm getting won't look so good.

On a lighter note - when I can get through to Xotic their customer support has been great - despite me being frustrated they managed to deal with me in a calm, cool delivered manner, and with regard to the warranty, I was informed that should my notebook prove to be faulty and I find the faulty part - all I need do is send the part back for replacement - which is hell of a lot better than paying to ship the whole bloody notebook from the UK to the USA and back!

Anyway, Justin managed to twist my arm and persuade me to stick this out, so all I can say is - this laptop had better be as good as you lot reckon it is!

    Build quality as well!

and I own a Clevo D900T - and fair enough, it has never broke down on me! - but it was broke when I received it! - I had to repair the motherboard, and I know that Clevo D900T's are prone to failing motherboards - I just hope that D901C's don't follow that same trend.

Apologies to all upset by my frustrated tone.

and they didn't make you upgrade with a MOBO upgrade.

    also the processor kicks butt!

you only need say a t7400 2.0ghz to play a game to the absolutely fullest extent *any game there is for that matter*

and the x7900 is awesome and the t9300 etc etc..

apples to oranges... maybe! but Who. Got. There. FIRST?

    and stable?
