I was wondering, if I bought the NP5797 from Xotixpc.com, what's does the free laptop bag look like? is it sturdy and durable?

My strap broke after about 4 months of use >_> probably because I carried too much stuff in it.
Aside from that though, it was a pretty nice bag, pretty roomy. I've since gotten a slightly smaller leather messenger bag that still fits my m860tu. -
anyone have a pic or link of it? I would love to see what it looks like.

from the Sager 9260 Review:
The included bag (view large image)
this is the typical bag that comes with the Clevo notebooks.
I used mine for the longest time until I decided to get a notebook backpack.Last edited by a moderator: May 7, 2015 -
Yep, that's the exact one I had.
The metal part attaching the latch to the strap broke on mine =/ -
thanks! seems pretty good, though the bag that comes with the Asus W90vp looked a lot cooler.

I personally HATED the bag that came with the laptop. It's not that the bag is cheap or anything, but to try and carry around the 901C only by your wrist is really, very, difficult. I bought a Targus bag ASAP and it was the best decision; heaps of room for everything you need to carry around and it's not going to set you back any more than $100 (Cheaper if you're in the US)
If you're thinking of lugging the laptop to and from work or school/uni/college, I would definitely say that you should invest in a proper bag; you'll save your wrists/shoulders in the long-run and thieves (those pesky ladrones) tend not to be as interested in a normal-looking bag than an expensive looking and heavy laptop bag. -
I personally like the free bag. I don't move my NP9262 around that much, so for me it's just fine. But I am certain that if I were to suddenly need to move around a bunch, I would get a Targus XL bag in a heartbeat.

I have two of those bags, honestly they suck. They have an annoying plastic shoulder strap which cuts into your arm even if you have a 6 or 7lb laptop in it, let alone a 20+Lb D900K
Get a backpack it is so much better

what backpack laptop bag do you suggest? Can my average "school" Jansport backpack be good to carry this laptop?

Trust me you don't want to carry 5797 or 9262 with your arm. Backpack is the way to go.

There's also a Targus XL that you can get instead of the normal bag at xoticpc. Does anyone have pics/opinions about this backpack?

There's another thread about backpacks a couple pages before this thread.
Kingsington bags are quite nice and would fit the 5797/96/93 etc...
The only sleeve... I know that fits the 9262 (and I did a ridiculous amount of searching at the time) is a Targus CVR217-10 here:
http://www.targus.com/us/product_details.asp?sku=CVR217
By the dimensions, it wouldn't fit. But it's neoprene (like a wetsuit) so it stretches and just does make it fit. Even with the big rubber feet on the 9262 it does make it. So you can toss it in other bags covered in the sleeve basically.
Kinsington Overnight Roller fits the 9262 with a sleeve on it and the existing laptop pouch removed (zipper). -

THE HELL?!
I was pretty ticked off. -
Oh the rage.. it's happened to me as well, at the airport with a different bag/notebook. Bought a new Targus messenger the week after.
I've ordered the Targus XL with my 9262 purchase. Does anyone know if the 5797 and 9262 fit in the padded compartment or just "in" the bag? because Xotic told me it fits in the bag, but they never specified if it fits in the notebook specific portion of it.
Xotixpc, what laptop bag od they give you?
