This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Yet another D900T problem

    Well here is one more problem, not sure if it's just me or if some other people have this problem. When I press fn+F2 to turn on max fans, nothing happens. I have the latest bios revision from Clevo and a version 6.3 mobo, it's technically an Alienware M7700 but i post it as a D900T because that's what it is.

    you need to update the KBC/EC firmware to gain the ability to Toggle the fan speeds.

    The BIOS does not control that.
