Since ZAGG is located in Salt Lake, I took my clevo in to see if they could create a skin for our computers. It took them about a day and the skin was free for me but soon enough they will have the skin for sale on the website.

It covers the lid, palmrests, trackpad, and buttons.

I've been looking for something like this! The palm rest especially needs some cover.

Did they say how much and I'm assuming this is wet-applied. I hope it's not too much and I hope they allow us to buy only certain parts to cover.

Shame Zagg's shields have such a tacky feeling/texture.

A matte protector would be much better as they are smooth to the touch.

True about the tacky feeling, but so nice to have on the wristpads and the back. I just don't use it for the trackpad, in fact I don't use the trackpad much at all :)!

Seanzky, they didn't mention the price on it but I am pretty sure once it is up on the website you can give them a call and order just the wristpads. You will be really happy with the results!

Any chance someone could bring in a P170EM?

Yarii, it does not go over the touch-pad correct?

Interesting. I'd rather like the look and feel of the rubberized surface though.

I'm very interested in a P170EM version. Can someone in Utah drop by the ZAGG HQ? :)

It does, there is a separate piece that covers the trackpad, I just took mine off since I like the feel of it better.

That difference is almost as much as a matte screen vs a glossy screen. I can see people liking that look though.

    Bloody hell

Why isn't this available in Europe??
@YariiThinkpad anyway you could contact them to sell these in Europe? Possibly give the dimensions etc. to the European HQ?

    Best regards

That's good for people that want to use a mouse on the palmrest. All my laptops have had the palmrest wear marks from my hand, takes away from resale value.
