For the new M860tu Which cooler would be best to buy?

The smaller NC 1000 or the Nc 2000?

    Thanks guys!

    I would recommend the cooler.

A high-end 15.4" gaming notebook might give off more heat than a 17".

Go for the NC2000 if you can. :)

I know you think the new laptop won't heat up, but come on every laptop will get hot if you push it to the limit.

I will be using it very often, as well as gaming - a cooler will simply allow it to run cooler.

    Here are some pictures:

I am always open to new ideas as well - it doesn't have to be Zalman :)

if you insist to have one, Zalman 1000 is the way to go.

I recommend the NC1000/NC2000 or the Cryo LX.

Both of those should help your system keep cool very well.

Speaking of heat, which GPU will run the coolest based on the options offered? I have a feeling the ATI HD3870 will run a lot cooler.
Is it confirmed that the NP8660 will only have a single fan?

I am inclined to believe the 3870 will run cooler too.
But that is a personal belief, no base proof.

    Gophn,

Will Zalman's Blowers line up A-OK with the intake of NP8660 = Clevo M860TU?

    G! :)

That's great to hear! I hope it runs cooler.

I wonder why everyone is worried about overheating. Isn't the CPU, GPU, RAM all the new DDR3 versions, which are supposed to run cooler and more efficiently?

I am confident that the Zalman coolers would help the airflow for this notebooks... especially the HDD and RAM areas since there are vents there too. :)

How about for the NP9262? Would it be prudent to go with the larget 2000 cooler or would the 1000 do fine in this situation aswell. I would like to run it on a cooler most of the time since I want longevity as well as power from my system.

And what about the M570TU? :p
The laptop already has a great cooling system so Zalman 1000 is the better choice, right?

thread hi jacker!! lols. ok chill. i already bought a NC-2000 for my in-coming 9262 (yeah, its not in yet, but i bought the notebook cooler already).. its running quite well on my old lappy now, so i think it should be okay runing on the 9262.. and quite a few 9262 users here have the nc-2000, as i've read, that's why i decided to get one myself.. =)

as for the thread starter.. sorry i replied to this guy here asking bout the 9262.. and i don't know what will work for the M860tu, but i'm guessing here that, the bigger the better? no harm having extra air flowing all over right.. (please correct me if i'm wrong here) unless you're on a tight budget then go for the nc-1000, which would still work fine :)

Tihi... figured putting it under a thread for Zalman would be better then starting a new one with a similar question. Thanks for the answer, and my bad for hijacking the thread ;)

I think I'll be getting the Zalman 1000. What is the advantage of the 2000 besides fitting 17" notebooks?
