I just got mine. To me it does seem to get a little hot under my left palm. Compared to my old HP, not surprised though going by the speed difference. If anyone is still interested. I do like it a lot though. Very happy with it.

Hi I got mine a couple of weeks ago and I like it. I have a bug with the wireless connection but I'm not sure that it's the laptop. It seems to loose internet connection. Now to your cooler question...
Cooler is always better however if you are playing games with graphics requirments or using extreme graphic programs you should be ok if you keep it on a flat surface like a desk and not a bed or sofa were air flow is not obstructed to cooling intake then it will heat up.
    Here's one that I like
    http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=10007400&prodlist=celebros

and here's the one I will probably get I like the extra usb ports....
    http://www.directron.com/cryolxblk.html

It all depends, I read somewhere that one cools at the top and one at the bottom, we want the one that cools on the bottom, that's where the 2096 gets hot.

so the bottom line is Cooler is always better....

    Cheers, Crashaxe

I definitely agree. That's why I'm getting the notebook cooler too. :)

By the way, what are your initial thoughts/impressions of the Sager NP2096? Maybe some pictures? Thanks. :)
